Garmont G-Rex

The new, really cool G-Rex is the next Generation all-around kid’s Tele and touring boot, and the only plastic boot in the world specifically developed for younger free-heel skiers. And, yes, they come in real kid sizes, so your 8 yr. old Tele Tyke can build character like the rest of us. The G-Rex is light, warm, and supportive, with all the following features of the big kid’s boots:

  • Double injected forefoot for easy flex with torsional control
  • Two mitt friendly buckles, plus power-strap
  • Removable inner boot can be fitted with Alpine fitting aids for kids growing into their boots.
  • Articulated cuff for smooth, easy ankle flex
  • Vibram 75-mm. sole for easy, comfortable flex, and touring versatility
  • Note: we stock only the half sizes, given they're the same shell size as the even sizes, and allow for a half size growth without In any way affecting the functionality of the boot. So, a foot that measures (see "shoe-box test" at top of page) 19-cm. should be Ideal In a size 19.5. Many parents will fit the same 19-mm. foot Into a 20.5, hoping to get a second season from the boots, which definitely should be done with feet that measure 19.5-cm. length.
